WOW, NSP! A proper manga tat, how impressive!
The image is so suitable for a black & grey design too.
The only thing I would suggest it that the outline of the panel, the rectangular box is made thicker. That would make it appear a little bolder, but I can imagine you're very happy with how this one turned out.
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me;
"Smile and be happy, things could be worse".
So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...
I was thinking a little thicker too. Or perhaps adding some shading behind it so it pops off the skin.
What we are going to do is add more panels with different characters from different mangas and keep using the dynamic manga shapes. Hopefully in the end it will be a full calf piece that looks like a long manga page.

I would leave the lines thin, only because when you start adding more panels it will make the lines look thicker when they are side by side,I would leave a light or open line inbetween the panels to make them pop.
Get the artist to make the open line between the panels half the size of the dark lines,It looks good done this way.
But It's up to you,you have a very good starting point,Have fun!!!!
