An Apology to All

In this public post, I would like to say I am sorry to everyone because through this post (typing of which has now been deleted) I was selling through Rubberslug. I put up the link to my rubberslug gallery in the old post and I was having a sale. In no way did I intend harm but I did because Rubberslug has rules and one of which says that one cannot sell directly through their site with the exception of the RS sale page.

I would like to thank Xelloss for reminding me that one cannot sell directly through Rubberslug. Although I had/have absolutely no intentions of using and abusing.....I shamefully did to rubberslug

Anime-beta........

Trust me, I am taking punishment upon myself. The moderators have not banned me but I am soon banning myself for awhile from using rubberslug and..... anime-beta (gulp). Anime-beta is an absolute heaven to me. Reading the happy and sometimes sad updates keep me company. Keep posting the wonderful posts even if you think no one is reading it, someone is and can relate to what your going through. You can even make someones bad day a wonderful day

I would like to apologize and so I am excruciatingly Sorry Sorry for "selling directly through Rubberslug" and in my own words, using Anime-Beta to post my Rubberslug gallery link on here and trying to sell. I have had sales and offers posted on Anime-beta before too... and I am Sorry for those as well. Ill miss you all and have a wonderful Christmas Holiday

It's against rubberslug's rules allow direct sales from a gallery. You are welcome to either post cels to the rubberslug sale section, and link people there, or make a page someplace else. The moderators tend to ban people in violation of this. This is just a friendly reminder in case you didn't know.

I have changed the original For sale post to an Apology. Thus, the Forum is no longer a "For Sale" forum. Would anyone know how to change it?

We all make silly mistakes, 'tis only normal.

I don't think you can change the section that the thread is in but it'll be pushed down soon enough.

I agree. There is no reason to punish yourself. Just learn from the mistake and don't repeat it. That's all anyone can ask.

Isn't it "okay" to post a for sale ad on Beta and provide a link to view the art in your Rubberslug gallery (so long as it does not say "for sale/offer" in the rubberslug gallery??

I was told this was okay to do. However, I was told that you cannot directly link an image from Rubberslug into the Beta forum due to bandwidth problems.
By this, I mean linking <img src=PICTURE> etc.

I think it's absolutely kosher to announce a gallery sale and reference your RS gallery. Some people post a "NFS" on the titles of items, implying that items not so marked are OK to inquire about. So long as there is no price posted in the RS gallery (title or description), I believe this honors the letter and spirit of the rule.

Consider yourself duly flogged, rh3

and then exposed to public ignomy on the scaffold

Ask yourself this - in 50 years, will it really matter?

Everyone makes mistakes, and yours definitely isn't the type that is going to radically alter the course of mankind. So, no need to worry. We all make mistakes.

I, for one, was not upset by your sale thread. I have way too many other things to worry about (like getting out of the shopping mall with my sanity still intact) this time of year to get bent out of shape over that.

Just to add the voice of Anime-Beta mods, star-phoenix is right; only linking images from Rubberslug is against Beta's rules. That's like, the only RULE rule we have. Any of Rubberslug's rules, such as not selling from their site, are none of Beta's business.

redhusky3, you are in no danger here of being banned. The For Sale section is exactly what it sounds like - a place to pimp whatever sales you have.

At your request, I have moved this thread to People Pages. I hope you decide to stay!
