What happened to cold snap and we barely broke 100 ?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

We had an 80% chance of rain here yesterday (northern Colorado).
We got exactly zero drops of rain.
Maybe Magician and DeadlyWhispers got some, to the south of me... I hope so because we're way toasty up here.
Klet!! I understand you're about to become more ancient!!
and I'll bet you could not possibly imagine where I learned that bit of info!

Oh, in AZ, we're always desperate for rain. We've officially been in a drought for the past fifteen years or something crazy like that. That's why you can't have fires up north--too much risk that a forest fire will spring up. So, anyway, camping isn't what it used to be when I went as a little girl. Plus, we've been around 10 degrees above normal for a while, too.monkeyboy wrote:Yuck hail! Don't like that stuff.
If it rained down in AZ that must have been a good thing. I have a friend in NM and they have been desperate for rain for months.

Yep, yep. I'm about to enter a new decade in a little less than two weeks.Baakay wrote:Klet!! I understand you're about to become more ancient!!

I wonder where you could have gotten that information. It couldn't possibly be from the same guy who called me up a few weeks ago and told me that he'd just bought someone a birthday present.

Kind of a scary thought, actually . . .
I guess you'll just have to think of Urahara as an early ancient birthday prezzie.

Welcome to the twenties soon!
It just gets tougher from there!
