So, anyone want to see pictures of the birthday girl?

I'll assume that there was at least one yes, so..

for her birthday dinner, we went to Applebee's. After the consuming of food,
I asked the waitress to provide a suitable level of public embarassment for
her and have the staff come over to sing happy birthday to her. Klet was
most appreciative of that, saying multiple times how she was going to pay
me back in the future for arranging it.

As she was listening to their stunning rendition of the song, she was smiling
and saying under her breath something about "I hate ewe." I don't know
the song brought up a hatred of sheep in her, though.

After they left, I could just feel the gratitude and good will oozing forth
from her, so I decided to move onwards to the ritual presentation of gifts.

The first package was something that she really wanted: loads of Gokudo
cels (plus one from Eden's Bowy). Make sure you suitably encourage her
to scan them all in quickly so you can see them. PM's every five minutes
or so should work...she won't mind.

The other one was a boxset of the Ranma OVA's so that she could drool
over Ryouga again.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone! I'm the world's worst person to shop for, so my family ended up just giving me money. :emb If I'm lucky, it'll go towards paying for a cel that's ending on YJ this morning. A cel I really, really want--gut reaction kind of want. :D
