Hi Midnite! Welcome to AB and Rubberslug! Its cool that you are getting into cel collecting early. I don't have a lot of money either (I'm I college student) but in a way it kind of adds to the fun of the hobby. When you save and save and save for that wishlist cel, it just makes it that more satisfying when you finally get your hands on it!
And its great that you have a wishlist made up already! It helps to keep you focused on the cels you really want so you don't buy compulsively.

I cannot experience fear.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Hello to MidniteKitten from Cephiro (where the clouds are thickening, pine needles are drifting down from all over, and the resident kitty insists on sleeping several feet off floor level just in case)!
Welcome to Beta, and please feel free to post, comment, and ask questions. We are all newbies in some realm, and I always learn something in my trips through the new messages. I wish I'd started collecting animation art when I was a teen! That's when Yellow Submarine art was relatively plentiful and within my budget -- but alas I went for classical LPs, which are now as obsolete and worthless as 78s and 8-tracks. But a thing of beauty, as Keats said, is a joy forever.
It's still a great time to pick up CCS cels, with a seemingly unending inventory continuing to come onto the market. I hope your modest collection will pick up a few of these as you go.
Gotta go -- cat just crawled up in my lap. He says it's scary.

I come back to see so many posts! I have it set to alert me of topic replies, etc...but didn't get this one in my inbox so it was a bit of surprise. Just want to say thank you again for all your comments! As for achieving the humble gallery I have at my age I'm very grateful and very proud as I work for every single one.
Also thank you for the Swan Princess cel comment specifically, I loved the movie as a child and the singing for sure. I had no idea it was made with cels until it popped up on ebay with a starting bid of 300$, that was way too high so I carefully watched it and it was relisted for 100$ still more than I was willing to pay and then one day low and behold it was listed at .99 cents start. I ended up winning out at 20$ and as the rarity of the cels and for such a fond childhood movie I couldn't be happier with it.
Again many thanks and I hope to post alot more ^w^
