But don't worry, no one here bites . . . too hard. 
As far as deleting your empty categories, here's what you have to do:
1. Click "My Account"
2. Click "Manage Artwork"
3. Click on the series you want to delete
4. I assume you've already deleted the cels that were in these categories? Good, now click "trash." It's at the very top of the page.
5. Empty the trash.
6. Now you can delete the category to your heart's content. ^_^
Did you post this on the forum or did you try to email an admin? Because there are a lot of us who have a lot more time on our hands than Jason does over there . . .

I love that manga. Haven't seen the anime, though.
