I am baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!

Post by kittens »

:bawl :bawl :bawl I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!!!

First of all, I miss my hubby /sob /sob /sob I have not seen him for 10 days already!!! and it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard to make phone call because of time difference.... So I could talk to him for short time once a day.....

Also I miss my cats /sob /sob

Also the place I am staying at has really sucky bed (very very very small and firm /sob) and it is very very very laud! So I have been sick for a couple days because I cannot sleep!!!

Then (ok.... more to come :P) it has been very hot here (like 30C ) so my place is at the 5th floow and very close to roof so my place is very very very hot (no AC as well....). Seriously I am getting really depressed. No TV, no I-net, no phone, nothing!!!!!

Then because of time difference and since I do not have I-net I lost my auction!!!! :bawl :bawl :bawl :bawl This is the last kick!!!!!! I have only I-net at my office so I could not check my auction ended in this morning (nice Sano OVA cel at ebay....)

I really wanted.........................................

I wanna gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooooome!!!! :bawl :bawl :bawl /sob /sob /sob (and I missedJuly 4th....... /sob)

What makes you so sad? Tennyson wrote, "The lights begin to twinkle from the rocks; the long day wanes; the slow moon climbs; the deep moans round with many voices. Come, my friends, 'tis not too late to seek a newer world. "

I'm so sorry to hear that Kittens. But it won't last forever. You'll be home
soon enough! I can imagine how tough it is, being away from your spouse.
And don't worry about losing the auction, there will always be more cels
of Sano for you to buy in the future.

Yes, Germany has got very good pastry shop everywhere!
I went to Germany a month ago and I also see that you can get pizza everywhere. It tastes not really like italian one, but it is good.

Where are you in Germany? If you are sad you can come in Italy to eat by me spaghetti, pizza and tomatoes and apricots from my garden! I'm not far from austrian border! :)

:l Awwww, phooey!! I'm sorry you're having a rough time, kittens! It's hard to be homesick... especially when you don't even have a comfy bed to flop into at night. But, like everyone else mentioned, it's not forever. Try to find some interesting things to enjoy while you're there in Germany that maybe you won't ever have an opportunity to see or enjoy again after you leave... all that beautiful European architecture, interesting different people, ... and surely they have some interesting meatless dishes there somewhere! :) Try to think of it as an adventure, and remember that you'll be home with your hubby and your internet soon enough. /kis

Noooo!!! :x

If I'd known I would have bid on Sano for you... I was watching him but not bidding because I knew it was you. Dangit!! But remember, that's one less thing to move, and soon you'll have more money to buy even better Sano cels. :D

Hey I could use some of that "losing dramatically weight" stuff... but I don't think you could :( Eat up! eat lots of anything that seems likely! :)

You'll be home soon, and you'll be so covered with cats and moving stuff and so forth that you won't even remember being sad.

You can still eat Sauerkraut!!! :D You'd also be surprised at some of the vegetarian options out in western Europe now. When I was there in '02 with a vegetarian roommate there was almost NOTHING, but when I was there in December they were actually starting to put meatless stuff on the menu (of course, this was Austria and France but they're equally meaty countries :P). And I'll second the pastries!!

Don't be afraid to go out by train. Germans are some of the nicest people you'll find in Europe and I'm sure they'd do their best to help you if you got lost. Get a map of the train route and a book of phrases like "excuse me, I'm lost" and "take anything you want" and "lets go dutch" and you'll be fine :P :rollin

I also found this Magdeburg information page online and I thought it might have some stuff for you to look at in town on it! :D It sounds like Magdeburg is an interesting little town!

I HATE to see you wiling away your time in Germany by being sad and scared and hungry!!! :bawl: Enjoy being there!!! Carpe Deutchland! :D
