Thanks, guys!! And hey, I'm only a lurker when that silly thing called "real life" gets in my way!!! I'd much rather spend time around here with you guys!
After all, YOU guys on A-B remembered my birthday, while most of my FAMILY FORGOT!!!
I suppose that's to be expected, though. My Dad's doing well, and seems to be quite perky, actually. Although he did tear off all the skin from the pad of the little finger on his right hand. The skin's gone from the tip to the first joint. I sat with him at the ER from about 11:30 pm (when he was taken in) until he was finally taken back to the nursing home at 3 am. My mother and I are planning to go up and see him tomorrow.
So, between that and trying to find a job back here in Canada I've been busy. I've got bills to pay and I want to save up some $$$ to move to England. When I've got some cash under my belt I'm going to start seriously looking for a job over there. I figure I probably need $6,000 or so CAN to move. The only furniture I'm taking are my bed and my computer, a couple of lamps and (maybe) my TV. The rest is just cloths and books and cd's/dvd's.
There you go, my life plan in a nut shell!!! LOL!
Thanks again for the birthday wishes, guys, I'd offer all of you a piece of cake, but I didn't get one this year!!
