I happened to catch Uende in a pm last night just as she was heading off to bed. Her latest beautiful boys had just arrived at my house Saturday, so I wanted to exclaim
I hadn't asked her about her dad for awhile -- he's been making reasonable progress recovering from a massive stroke -- so I did.
His cancer is back.
.....
soooo... anyone who's so inclined might think about dropping her a word of support. It's been a very rugged few months for her.

Ugh. I just found out about this yesterday, too, when I was in IM with her. I sat down and cried and cried. I wish I could be there to give her a big hug in person. She is such a dear friend and special person, and I had been praying and hoping like mad that things would start getting better for her dad. Just makes me so mad at life, in general, you know?
