I just found at work, Monday night, that one of my friends at work had her house burn down. The house has been totally gutted, and her and her family have lost everything but their truck and the clothes on their backs, and an extra pair of shoes for her daughter, that were in the truck. I don't even know the words to say... this year has been nothing but trials for her and her family... as earilier this year they totally lost their barn to a tornado, and she missed out on about 2 months of work b/c of an emergency hysterectomy.... she, Amanda, is one of the absolute nicest people I know. She's always friendly and helpful, no matter how badly her day is going. Words cannot describe the heartbreak I'm feeling ATM.
I was going to be doing this anyways only now I'm just gonna post ealry w/out any website made, and just say that anything visible in my RS gallery is for sale... just send me offers, don't worry about lowballing or whatever, just send an offer over and i'm going to donate 10-20% of all sales to help out my friend in the fire.
ps, if this is in the wrong section... i'm sorry. =\

That's sad to hear. Sometimes when it rains it just really pours. It's posts like these that make me realize how lucky I've been compared to others (our company got bankrupt last year and many people lost their jobs)... Anyway I sincerely hope things go better for her and her family. Coz things like these produces so much stress financially, physically and psychologically. I am happy though that she has a good friend who is willing to help her out. It's great you are doing this.

That sounds like a proverb.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
-I, Robot (Asimov)
