Quite honestly, I wouldn't worry myself about that.

Thanks to all who wished me well and especially gratia tibi, transmet, for starting the thread. I spent a very quiet day, mostly doing house chores, until my wife and I went for an Early Bird dinner at Red Lobster and returned a Christmas present. Then I had a thin sliver of carrot cake (the last survivor of a very tasty one I'd bought last Friday at the local farm market) with one candle in it, and opened presents. The only anime-related one was a pencil board (for "Slayers Try") from my daughter, but I also got a nice variety of books on topics ranging from vampire lore to the restaurants of Manhattan, plus two very useful kitchen knives and a schlepper.

Considering that at my age birthdays are not a huge deal, I thought it a pleasant evening all round. I appreciate all the customized graphics that people brought out: an especially nice touch.
