Promotion at work!!! aaaah.....

Post by iwakuralain16 »

I was just told that I am going to be converted which basicly equals to a promotion. Doing the same job, but with better insurance, paid vacation, getting paid for days when the market is closed and we are closed... and... yeah. :^^: Oh yeah, better pay too. *edit* oh yeah, they will pay for most of my college too.

I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rollin

Sorry, I have been working hard for this since I was hired in last August. They started me out in the security gate, then I got promoted in October to 401k and now I will be a full Fledge employee(and they will pay for me to take the Series 6 and 63). Kinda scared of those tests but that is okay. >_>

I actually had someone in my little group that I work with call me dumb a few days ago. heh... I bet he will feel dum because I have been here for 7 weeks, he has been here for 3 months and we are both getting the promotion. HAHAHAHA Who calls someone else dum in a professional enviroment though? That is weird.

anyways!!! I just wanted to share with everyone. I am so excited!!!

:flower Congrats :flower

Don't worry about the 63 & the 7. They're not as bad as they sound, well maybe a little. [Never did like taking tests. ] But if you study hard & take a class, you should be fine. That's important, taking a class cause the teacher can give you tists & tricks for the class.

I was scheduled to take the test but canceled it immediately since I changed jobs within the firm & its wasn't a requirement. [See I'll do anything to get out of taking a test.]

Again Congrats!!!

THey hold a class on site. Our site currently has a teacher that does the classes and our passing rate is above national average and among all of the sites we have in the US and one in Canada, we have the best passing rate. I am just scared of the tests. lol I will try my best though!(because I want to keep my job) hahaha

Thanks everyone who responded! This is a big deal to me since just getting this far is the big hurdle where I work. NOW it is time to start looking at supervisor positions(I hope to get one by Next January hahaha). I may end up mirroring other people later on in the year in different departments to see if that is where I want to go in the company. This opens up alot of doors to me. aaah excited!! :jump Need to sleep. I have a three day weekend because the stock market is closed on monday. yay!!
