Hello

I've been collecting cels since 1999 but took a hiatus for a couple of years. But now I'm back and prepared to be much poorer! It also means that I'm kinda outta the loop for some things. For instance, I was a lil' disappointed that the Animanga forum isn't very active. At least not like before when posts were made every hour.

Thanks Remi for pointing Anime beta out to me. This forum is buzzing! Anyway, I look forward to posting and reading here. See you all around!

With that kind of motif, I'm surprised not to see Cap'n Ahab from Hakugei: The Legend of the Moby Dick, the only (I think) cel-based anime series to feature real pirates with peg legs and eye patches.

You have a very nice Miyu collection, and the other galleries have some lovely items. Good taste like yours will serve you well and, in the end, save you money. A pretty but inexpensive cel always trumps a pricy cel of THAT character from THAT series that's ugly or weird-looking.

Anyhow, Irasshimase, and please forgive our quirks and come and post lots anyhow.

Sensei swings his broadsword dramatically to emphasize the last point and severs his crappy dial-up modem connection.
