We're hanging in there. Called all our utilities today and made
arrangements so we could afford to pay them SOMETHING. XP The car's breaks are sounding squeak-ie, and we know the calipers and one of the drive shafts need to be replaced soon, but we're crossing our fingers that it won't be until we're back on our feet. Tomorrow night at midnight we'll get to go grocery shopping (food stamps)!!! Ahhh.. to be able to afford milk and veggies, and meat again! =D
This turned into a real long whine-fest, didn't it? Sorry. XD Okay, I'll stop typing now. Really... Honest... for sure this time..

One of the front tires flew off yesterday!Thankfully the car it hit was owned by a really nice guy who decided not to put in a claim.But the whole process killed the calipers and a rotor on the breaks. BAH!
Why must the car gods hate me so!?
At least our mechanic is super duper nice. He already offered to take off
the cost of labor to make it a little more affordable.

I dunno. Maybe we weren't meant to own a car?!

At least no one got hurt.

To think, I traded a car with bad breaks that could have been fixed
for $600, for a car with bad breaks that need to be fixed for $800.
Plus the cost of the car itself. What a hassle.
