Hello there!!!

Post by Makki »

After months of lurking it’s about time to start posting and introduce myself.
I’m Makki, named after an anime character and I’ve got a small, little, wildly ignored gallery on Rubberslug that needs to be shamelessly promoted. :roll

Many of you will already know me, for I have bought cels and sketches from at least 3 different Betarians and spoken with many others over the last 20 months.

And for those of you who do not know me:
Think twice!!! I’m pretty sure we have met before. Remember that guy you had a bidding war with. The one that – after minutes of bidding and counter bidding – was finally defeated. Well, chances are that was actually me. But it’s okay. I can live with it. I just feel sorry for my furniture… because ultimately it's my desk that has to suffer the most when I loose one auction after the other. :emb

By the way, if you've got a heart for abused furniture, this is your chance. All you have to do is stop competing and my desk will be eternally thankful... :D

Hiyas and welcome to Anime Beta :D
I hope I haven't encouraged your furniture abuse

Sort of reminds me of that "Happiness Bunny" on Shin-chan

Welcome to Beta! I've also visited your gallery a few times. I was thinking I had dropped a feedback your way at some time or other, but I might be mistaken. If not, I certainly meant to. I love the color scheme and simple, but striking, layout you used in there. Plus, your collection is fantastic. I hope you have a great time here!

Aww... now that goes down like oil. *wanders off, feeling ennobled*

Uhmm... Twin Bells... No, I'm afraid that's not it. I've never heard of that one before.

Yeah, I could definitely use one of those. But it's too fluffy, I'm afraid. It wouldn't be the same. :rollin

You are not mistaken. Actually, your feedback was one of the nicest messages I've gotten so far... Expect to hear from me within the next week. I'll definitely return the favour, now that your gallery is back online. I've visited it before, but it's sooo huge... and cool... and droolworthy...

And to all the others:
I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun together and I'll definitely enjoy my stay.
I am, after all, looking forward to everyone here enjoying my company.

Great little gallery you have there. Not a lot of artwork, but high quality

So are you named after the character from Bubblegum Crisis? :?

Me, Myself and I want to know :D

What makes you think I have great humor and taste in cels? I hope it's worth the wait.

1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Me, Myself and I want to know :D
I'm sorry to disappoint the three of you. No, I'm not named after a character from Bubblegum Crisis. I am, however, under the impression that in Japan there must be a breeding station for characters named Makki.
Is there nobody who remembers Ayumu, Kisa and Makabe-kun? He's the one I'm named after.
Caroline wrote:i can tell you have great humor and taste
Well, thank you so much. I'm totally flattened. Usually it takes a lot more time for people to realize just that. :D
wELCOME cONSUMER wrote:Hope to see you posting and updating lots more in the future.
We'll see. The posting part shouldn't be that much of a problem. But as far as updating is concerned, I could use a little help. All you have to do is convince the other Betarians to sell their artwork from FMA and Naruto. Do that, and I'll go on a buying frenzy. :evil2
