I'm Back

Post by miz ducky »

I'm am now far far away from the place that I live.
I'll be in the middle east until after New Year's.

Everything is fine. My job is pretty cool. My biggest problem is the sun. (It is very HOT out here!)

I don't have regular internet access and there are a lot of websites that are blocked (like myspace).

If you have FB sketches to sell, please email me!! I have a PO Box set up while I'm gone they'll hold them for me. :D

I'll check the board when I can, but it won't be very often.

*hugs*

You must have a lot of expertise.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Thanks for the love!!

I keep busy working 12 hour days, 6 days a week. Plus, I'm taking History online. I've gathered the anime fans, and we've been exchanging anime files, but it's hard to get the latest downloads since there is no open internet available.

I put it up to a vote, and they actually voted for FRUITS BASKET to be the first show we play at the base theater (out of FB and Beck, the only two shows on official dvd that I have here)!

I'm excited to be able to watch it on the Big Screen!

*bump for the sake of not making a new thread*

One More Month!! Then I go home to Hawaii.

I've finished my History Class with about a 95%. Yay!

I Can't Wait until I can get home and I can look at all the pretties that I bought while I was out here. I guess I really didn't save the money that I wasn't spending on rent and utilities (I moved out of my house and put everything in storage to save money).
Don't worry its an indoor storage place with A/C.

I couldn't resist with the sales that popped up. I want to touch them, and pet them, and love them and ...

*ahem, sorry*

Thank you to all the people who've supported my habit while I am so far away, and disconnected from the "normal world".

Interesting deduction. What do you do there?

Yep it's pretty bad. If I was a gamer it would be worse for me. Anything related to games is blocked. Even articles on Yahoo that are game related are blocked.

A lot of sites that are for personal use are blocked (MySpace, Photobucket, geocities, imageshack, livejournal, etc.) even Midoris site is blocked as a "personal pages" website. Any type of media is blocked. No steaming music or video of any kind. The audio lectures that my professor put online were blocked. All auction sites are blocked.

I'm glad that AB and RS aren't blocked. I've visited my gallery a few times since I've been here. I miss my books.

Actually, I'm lucky that I can get to these sites at work. The media center computers that are on a different domain block EVERYTHING that isn't expressly allowed by the firewall. There is no open internet available at all.
