New to beta, old to cel collecting
New to beta, old to cel collecting
Hello all.
I have been out of the hobby for several years. A few of you may remember me from back on animanga. Since I was last active, I have graduated college, went to grad school, finished that, moved to Atlanta, bought a house, gotten married, and umm.. I guess I qualify as a grown up now.
I mainly collect Vampire Miyu and Tenshi ni Narumon, though I have a smattering of Yuu Watase cels as well.
My gallery hasn't progressed much since that time, though I do have a handful of updates from years past that never made it on, which will hopefully be forthcoming.
I'm hoping to expand into Loveless genga (a first for me, I really resisted non-cel products but I adore the series). And of course, if I could miraculously snag any materials from the BL game series Angel's Feather.. well yes I will keep dreaming. And in over a decade I -still- have not managed to snag a Narumi Kakinouchi drawing from her own lovely hand. So, I'll keep that on the wall of daydreaming too.
I'm also thinking about making a duplicate Rubberslug gallery just because they have a nice search interface.
Anyway, nice to meet you / see you again!

Sometimes I think love is just a biological urge. Other times LOVE seems like a spiritual quality. Love, unlike energy or matter, seems limitless.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

aye! I love your TnN collection! When I first started collected I saw your opening cel of Raphael and that cel made me want to see the series, and also had me fall in love with Raphael even before I saw the series. (since I was big into playing guitar, and loved one winged angels, and raphael is just adorable!)
Thanks for the warm welcome all. Good to see the familiar faces, and howdy to my new comrades in arms. I look forward to exploring everyone's galleries.
I'm slowly digging out the couple purchases I've made in the intervening years and nudging them towards the scanner. (Namely a sketch from Angel's Feather, a Rei Ijuin cel from the Tokimeki game opening sequence, and a humble stack of Loveless rough drawings..oh and how did I almost forget the Yuu Watase drawing on a dixie paper plate...)
Once that's done, I'll have to figure out whether the existing site gets a facelift (it still has my old email in most places!) or I just port it all to Rubberslug.
I'll probably also be weeding out things that have lost their shine and a few random pieces that wormed their way into my collections in the coming re-org period, so I guess I'll get a chance to try the for sale section soon.
