Newbie says hello

Post by Marvin »

Hello Community,

I want to introduce myself in this forum where I hope to find informations about cels and cels for selling, too. :)

I am a girl from Germany how was born in 1981. I am on the beginning of the journey during the celworld and I hope to get some cels of my favourite childhood animes.

Hi Marvin!
Welcome to A-B and the wonderful
world of cel collecting! Post often,
and don't be afraid to ask questions!
[we don't bite, well not much anyhow :P ]
Part of the thrill of cel collecting is the search,
then the great feeling of satisfaction when you
finally find That Special Piece
Have a Very Merry, Safe and Peaceful Christmas

Welcome! :D I'm still a relative newbie myself, but as I've found out fellow collectors are incredibly kind, helpful, and generous. It's how I have a gallery that's beyond what I've dreamed it would be in about a year and a half of collecting, let alone a rare and sought character.

I can't wait to see what your gallery will hold!

Thank you all for your very kind words. I hope someday I can show you a gallery full of cels. It is like a search for the Holy Grail but I think that is the most interesting point of this hobby.

@iceman57

Karel Gott rules ! :D

Hope you'll feel confortable on Anime Beta board. There are several regional collectors such as Gabe or Kata that may assist you in your mother language.

It is indeed, and another nice point is that there are so many nice Grails still available, and at reasonable prices, and all are hallowed in one way or another.

Many are the questers, and many the quests. It is still a fine time to begin collecting.

Welcome to Beta! I agree that hunting is a big part of the fun and it's still the buyer's market now. Hope to see your gallery in the future! :)
