Long time, no cel.

Post by Zag »

Ohayo minna-san.

Yeah, I know, I know. Years.
Been tough, turns out 3 out of our 4 kids are autistic, and now Cam (my SO) is disabled as well.
So had to give up all hobbies for a while.
We've moved to a better school district for the kids' special needs and it takes every penny
to afford it here, so I have been avoiding temptations.I never meant to avoid YOU ALL.

Been a while, but we are starting to get back on track. This year all the kids will be attending
school which will give yours truly a much needed break during the day. So I can finally catch up!

Looking forward to chatting with everyone again soon!

Welcome back, Zag. Glad to hear you're doing well.

(and still remembered your Beta password...because I would have so totally forgotten mine after not visiting for so long..)

Welcome back, Zag. We've never stopped being temptatious (yes! a legal word! Webster affirms it!) and we're happy our siren songs have taken effect. Sorry to hear about your children's needs (I probably would have been diagnosed as high-functioning Asperger's if that option had existed in the 1960s) but I'm glad that you have them in special programs and that the condition is much better understood these days.

Watch for a project to gather some info on basic collecting wisdom soon -- once I'm done with some medical testing that is driving me crazy at present.

That's one of my goals. It's bugged me endlessly that there hasn't been a safe time to try to straighten the LDs.
(you have to heat them in the oven between to plates of glass very carefully to re balance them.)
I sooooo want to get them fixed and converted!
