Gallery Update: CCS and Nadesico

Post by rallihir »

It's been a while and the lack of appreciable CCS artwork has contributed to the drought, but here is a nice CCS Movie 2 cel and CCS background of Tokyo Tower.

Sakura's Most Precious Card

Sakura's Rollercoaster Ride

Tokyo Tower

And here is a nice cel of Yurika and Ruri as dolls in Nadesico

Yurika and Ruri

Hopefully, there will be some other goodies after my trip to Tokyo in June...

I love the most precious card cel. That's such a wonderful image. I love what you wrote about it too. Everyone can choose what that most precious feeling is. How sweet!

Congrats! 8)

True ... though some of the prices paid recently for rare Clow Cards makes me happy I've diversified my portfolio.

Some very pretty items! The still life of the Nameless Card is extraordinary, partly for its rarity, partly because it's extremely well designed in moody color. Even the bunny pencil is pretty. And the other movie cel is as dramatic as the first one is quiet: that runaway car actually looks angry as well as dangerous. And the Tokyo Tower bg is lovely and immediately recognizable to all CCS fans.
Hopefully, there will be some other goodies after my trip to Tokyo in June...
Have fun ... find treasures to bring back and share ... and leave a few crumbs for homebound souls to glean!

I'll be putting up a couple of Rayearth cels in a little while that you'll like. It seems that MKR has suddenly become more available and more affordable of late, good news for us starved CLAMP addicts who can't begin to complete for Tsubasa sketches.

Thanks for sharing!

As I always post in your updates, I have never seen
either of those series before, however, the update is
stunning as always. 8)

Beautiful update, as always! I love the Most Precious Card cel, and the Tokyo Tower background. Both are stunning and, especially in the case of the Card cel, evoke strong emotions.

But, I think my favorite of this particular update has to be the Yurika and Ruri cel. That is so awesome, and the whole bit of there being dolls of the crew members was one of my favorite things about Nadesico.

Congrats on your new additions!

You always have a great update! :)

I really like the Sakura & the rollercoaster cel! The detail is nice, and there is a sense of urgency to it.

As the others who beat me to it have already said: another beautiful update as usual. I love that most of them aren't the traditional portraits, but are still framed well and fun.

Oddly enough, my favorites of the bunch are the two without any "characters" in them. Both the nameless card and the image of Tokyo Tower are breathtaking and beautiful. :)

The "most precious" set-up is simply breath taking 8O Tokyo Tower is also quite gorgeous as well. Your updates are always of the highest quality, kudos on the fine new additions to your already expansive and truly impressive collection.
