Hi All,
After seeing Jcaliff's post with pictures from the 1982 San Diego Comic-con I decided to post a new section in my gallery of some of the sketches my wife Maria has been able to get over the last 10 years of attending the con.
We had been going for quite a while and even though Maria enjoyed herself it seemed that it was "My Friends" we were seeing and buying artwork from. She was content to stay in the background while I wanted to get her more involved in my hobby so she could feel more at ease.So in 1997 I talked her into buying a sketchbook so she could get items of her own just for her. I only put forth one condition. She had to be the one to ask with book in hand rather than me having them done for her. As time has gone on she has gotten to make a lot of friends in the artist community as herself and not just my wife. This has continued on as we share our input on the cels we now collect.
So here's a snapshot of 10 years of as Ms. Poe described as "Maria's Bible" http://ryan.rubberslug.com/gallery/mast ... esID=30487
