Mushishi sketches up
I just put a whole bunch of Mushishi sketches up in my gallery. There is a small section of colored pencil backgrounds included. Nothing really spectacular, but fans of the show might find some of these drawings interesting. There's even a whole section of Ginko! (if you really want to torture yourself
)

Yay! Somebody looked!
Thanks EOP!
Yes, I agree Mushishi is a great show. But it's a little atypical for anime and the sketch art is not the most exciting. Still, I find the sketches fascinating for what they reveal about the production process; most of mine look like they've been through a war - the War of the Deadline!

Thanks grEenLeaFx! It's nice to have feedback on the screencap thing.
I initially just used a thumbnail to open the cap in a new window, but I didn't like how you couldn't see the drawing and cap at the same time without resizing and moving the window.
So I looked at some other galleries and saw that the way to do this is by hosting your caps somewhere else and then viewing them from inside the comments using the <img> tag. That way you can see both at a glance and it doesn't take up too much space.
It took a while at first, but now that I know how, it'll be pretty quick and easy to do.

Oh wow!
I really enjoy the background sketches. Amazing how much detail put in them. Makes me want to see Mushishi.
Also love your Major Diving sketch. Very beutiful!
On another note! My friend your GITS SAC Batou is from the same sequence as a few of mine. We did it again.
Well he's from the second season episode 13.

Oh thanks Penguinton! I was going to rewatch both TV series to try to figure out where he was from; now I can just go find him in episode 13. Well, I'll watch them all anyway; it's such a great series!Penguinton wrote:On another note! My friend your GITS SAC Batou is from the same sequence as a few of mine. And thanks for the Mushishi comments. I think the backgrounds are very pretty in their own right, even if very different from the final beautiful watercolor renderings.
