Congrats on some nice additions. Tonde Buurin is really a very funny and inventive series, and it's a shame not to have more than the scattering of fansubs available on YouTube. Still, it makes collecting cels from it a genuinely surreal endeavor.

I can add a little info, though. Your "snot car" is from Episode 9, where there's a school-sponsored competition for custom-built solar-powered cars. There is a clip from this available on YouTube:

Unfortunately, it's only the second half, is dubbed in Cantonese, and has no subtitles. Fortunately, it's not difficult to follow because all the humor is visual, and your cel pops in at about 0:55 of the clip. (It's the one that the school nurse Nanako drives, and because it has iffy brakes, it plays a large part in the story by giving Karin a chance to transform into Buurin, so she can save her, and then help Kouichi win the race.)

Gah! I'm such a hockey puck! I didn't mention you in my post in the other thread, and I love your Tonde Buurin cels! I also enjoy reading the comments you write for each cel; I think it's great when cel collectors take the time to do this. My two favorite cels are "Buurin and the Sweatdrops" and "This Little Piggy Went to..."

I just realized I never thanked those who helped me locate episodes 1-4 of this show. I really appreciated it, and as soon as they are FINALLY done downloading, I'll watch them at the speed of pork xD

Robo, is she actually giving him sweetbuns, or is that simply from the SS anime? xD Forgive me for that stupid question. Is it some kind of good luck charm/tradition for sports in Japan?

The movie also has a love story which I can't show a clip of because if I showed any of the love story, it would kinda spoil the movie.

It's a very funny movie!!

And the sweetbuns play a role in the love story, but I wouldn't know about Tonde-burin since I haven't watched it either... Where is episodes 1-4?
