Game Cels/BGs and Revised Top 20

Today I completed a new section to the gallery, artwork from the BASTARD!! VIDEO GAME. Honestly, this has some amazing backgrounds and the cels aren't bad either. I guess the quality remains high when there's only 15mins of footage to deal with. 3 video clips showcase many of these pieces within the game's cut-scenes.

While I was in the mood I also revamped KRAFTY'S TOP 20 with some new additions. Check them out for an overview of what turns me on

There have also been other updates since the end of June, by glancing the News column on the front page you can catch up on anything that may have whizzed by.

Wow they're truly gorgeous, the backgrounds especially Arshes' Woodland especially got my attention. I love those style of silhouette images, I had them in a set of fairytale books when I was a kid and they always intrigued me.

The Bastard! game art is stunnig Krafty.

Most of the backrounds are a traditional mix of airbrush and acrylic which is more vibrant than watercolour. The washy brown swirls on the Woodland BGs would have been made some other way. I remember doing artwork like this when I was a kid- I think washing-up liquid was involved to create the oily appearance.

Wow, great update! Those backgrounds are gorgeous!!! Anything game related is always a major plus. Nice man!!

Your top 20 always amazes me...you pick setups I would never have guessed. Just says something about your personality which is quite cool, that no matter how similar tastes can be, personalities are one of a kind.
