I always love your updates for their wonderful descriptions! I really like both your new Miyu additions they've both such drawing images. I'm quite a fan of the "kero-zilla" as well. Congrats on another beautiful update to your gallery.

Heh. By chance I found that I had another cel (from the Rayearth TV series, which Hirano did just before Miyu) that has the same effect:

Smaller, but again with most of the hair painted on the back and a few whispy strands going their on way on front.

Thanks for visiting toonybabe and ashenfairy. I was hoping someone would read through the descriptions (which I love to write while I'm waiting for the cels to come stateside). The little haiku has been a part of my CCS-related posts since back when I used to hang out at "Cardcaptors Uncensored."

Nice update Sensei. I really like the Miyu cels - especially the
first one. What lovely detail. 8) I also really like the CCS cels,
however, I am still unsure what makes one CCS cel more exciteable
or collective worthy then others. I always see so many up for
auction, but never was sure what makes collectors fight for some,
while others go on for months without bids. :? I must say, you
have great taste in CCS cels, they are all really quite lovely. I know
you said one other time when I asked, but do you mind refreshing my
memory on what it is that draws you to certain CCS cels? :o

Sensei,

Beautiful update as always. I have always liked your gallery. The primary aspect of your gallery that differentiates it from other gallery is you depth of knowledge and sense of museum curatorship that accompanies all you cel postings. It is clear that much time and research goes into every image. If I every get out to PA again, we'll have to talk about the contributing animators and artists in CCS and MKR.

[Just in case anyone missed it, I started a new thread to answer Gonzai's question. ]

Thanks, Kero: I guess this one was bound to resonate with you. It's fun to get a one-of-a-kind image like this.

Rallihir, I hope we can get back together somehow. With my commute down to the Maryland Eastern Shore, I'll be no closer to Philly but at least no farther away, and perhaps we can get together in some corner of Wilmington, Delaware. When I started out, I wanted to have a collection like yours, and while I'm not close yet (those fabulous OPs, Okase pans and hankens! 8O ) at least I've managed to be sequence-buddies a couple of times.
