Angelic-Lair.com BWA Update - May 1, 2009

Hello!

We wanted to let everyone know that we've added two new cels (with original matching backgrounds) from an adult anime, Ikenie, to our personal collection at Angelic-Lair.com.
They're really beautiful pieces, and we thought that we'd share them.

*Please note that while these two new pieces can safely be viewed at work, the "Adult Artwork" section of our site cannot.*

We've also started updating our Rubberslug site with several of the Kamen no Maid Guy sketches that were introduced on our main site late last month. We've still got a couple of sections to add, but for now check out Episode 6 and Episode 9.

Hello again!
It's a big update this time around, with several new pieces from Ikenie, a new Fullmetal Alchemist layout, a couple Cardcaptor Sakura items from episode 69, and a spectacular cel of Lum from Urusei Yatsura. Hope you enjoy them! ^__^

Since Urusei Yatsura is a new series for us, we could use some help identifying where our new Lum cel is from. ^__^;;

A couple of things we wanted to share with everyone!

Firstly, we thought we'd share our newest addition, a La Blue Girl hanken sketch set that we won off of Mandarake's Big Web Auction:

Scanning these sketches was a royal pain (we've never had to do a four-part merge before), but we're extremely happy with the end results (and the sketches themselves... which are freaking HUGE!) ^__^ We're also surprised at how nice the shadow reference sheets are, especially since they weren't shown in the auction.

Secondly, we wanted to mention that we've added a new feature to our gallery!

Items that have a douga, a layout or a correction sheet that we want to show now have an icon in the lower-left-hand corner of the image. Clicking on the icon will open up a new window that displays the accompanying sketch. It's pretty neat seeing them side-by-side. ^__^

We're hoping to expand on this idea in the future in order to add screencaps for our items.

And finally, we wanted to mention that our next update (which will likely be coming later this month) will have a number of items from Dirty Pair Flash, Ikenie, and (if we can get around to it) Kamen no Maid Guy. Be sure to look for it!
