Slug Problems

Post by Goldknight »

Anyone else having trouble accessing rubberslug? I keep getting weird screens:
error '80070070'

/default.asp, line 332
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a003e'

Input past end of file

/default.asp, line 338
:?

***EDIT***
I just noticed that I can access my own slug site just fine. It's the main slug page at www.rubberslug.com that's coming up with errors.

Hey Goldknight!

Yes, I have also experienced some difficulties with rubberslug.
So far over this weekend, I have been unable to upload any new images as well as not been able to access either the 'Recently Updated' or 'Sponsor Updated' Galleries.
I've been getting:

'HTTP 500 Internal Server Error' - website cannot be displayed.

Checking r-slug's forum, other collectors are experiencing the same difficulties we are & Jason is aware of the dramas.

Hey there!

Rubberslug is unhappy right now because I broke it a few weeks ago and never fixed it properly. I'm locked out right now -- I'll spare the technical explanation -- and the person who can get me back in has swine flu.

Seriously, the man is kaput. I talked to him on the phone. He didn't sound like he was in any condition to be sitting in front of a computer. However, as soon as I can synch up with him, I can fix the problem within a few minutes.

Sorry about the inconvenience!

Swine flu + fowl (foul) language = barnyard fun.

I'm not sure that was an intentional pun, but it was kind of funny. OK so I'm in a weird mood at the moment. Anyways, I hope your friend gets better soon.

Strange, I can visit the site without any problems. Did it get fixed already?

I was able to visit the site and thought it was strange with updates that weren't really updates over the weekend.
I emptied my cache and RS isn't loading for me anymore. The main front site and the Gallery list page aren't working for me.

This is what I get:

======================
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a003e'

Input past end of file

/Default.asp, line 338
======================

I can get to direct links (Galleries) on RS but not the main sites.

How strange. Sounds like everyone is able to access different things. I still don't see the main page though. Just the error messages. Thanks so much Jason for giving us an update. :) I hope your friend gets well soon.

Ack. And here I was hoping to do a little AWA updating today since it's slow here at the store! Oh well...perhaps in another week or so!

I had that same problem too, the main site keeps coming up with errors. But if I entered through the rubberslug store then I got in just fine.

Rubberslug is back online. Sorry about the inconvenience. I've got some new goodies to show off soon, hopefully. More about that later.
