She came courtesy of Midori's site which is I have to say a little bit of a trove, she knows what she's doing with just the layout it she has it going on. It some how signals we've got it going on here people, then you start exploring and oh yes it most certainly does. The fact she's entirely lovely helps as well.

Hey there, GREAT Leila I'm so glad she stayed within the Beta family so I can visit her whenever I want. I always particularly liked the detail of her gun and hands. I have a thing about hands, they are difficult to draw well. That scene can also be seen on the back of the VHDBL DVD (at least the US release, not sure about the international release). Beautiful new additions. The Laputa sketch is such a treasure. I think it's one of the most expressive and prettiest sketches I've seen, and I'm happy for you that you were able to get such a beautiful piece of art from a movie that means so much to you. It's always fantastic when that happens. The Leila cel is gorgeous. I love her expression and her hands. Pretty, pretty, pretty -- as VHDB art tends to be! Congrats on your new additions!!

Tex Chan - Thank you for your words of kindness and I'm glad to see Gecko Blue is still lively with plenty of new additions. I always get scared when I don't here from people that they've stopped collecting, so it's nice to see some constants in this world. Up close Sheeta is really magical and sort of comes to life in your hands. Something about the shading, I don't know I couldn't capture it with my scanner (they or well mine anyway tends to suck a bit of life out the images). I love my leila cel too and her sketch, I've always admired VHDB art and I've been after one of these ever since I saw them around when Original Anime Arts used to do cel auctions.

WC - I always thought I was a rare breed, guess I'm more of a dirty mongrell then I thought. Ha ha didn't notice your link, being the observant fellow I am I shall add you fourthwith.
