Akadro's update

Post by akadro »

Hello everyone,

It's been ages! really....

I am still done collecting but I had those last cels that I have finally managed to upload.

Is there any possible better way to finish a DB cel collection ? don't think so.

Thanks for sharing, they look very nice! :)

I'm probably the only anime fan who hasn't seen DBZ yet.

Really awesome stuff, Akadro!
That Dragonball cel is a stunner. I must say that i like the Jessica and Roger Rabbit cel even more, though.
I always loved watching Who framed Roger Rabbit when i was a kid, and it still remains one of my all-time favourite films to this day.

It certainly is unusual, especially as you would have been in your early teens when it first ran on Dutch television, making you exactly the right target audience.
Newbie fans born after '95 would be considerably less likely to have watched DBZ on TV, so i expect it's not entirely uncommon for very young anime fans to be unfamiliar with it.

If it's any comfort, i don't tend to watch things just because they're popular either. I've seen hundreds of anime series and movies, but have never watched Naruto or Akira or even most of the Ghibli films for that matter. Heck, i have never once seen the Ghost in the Shell movies, even though i consider the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex TV series one of my Top 10 favourites.
