Well it has been a while since I have updated with any pieces of comic art and several years since I have found a piece of Underground comic art.
The one piece I have updated is a piece drawn by the late Vaughn Bode for a monthly comic strip Cheech Wizard for National Lampoon magazine.
Cheech Wizard was Vaughn's most famous work and a lot of the character designs he came up with were "borrowed" by Ralph Bakshi for his film Wizards.
Cheech Wizard is not for everyone since like a lot of the underground stuff it is based in the time of the drug culture and sex coming out of the 60's.
This strip from 1972 is a "1st draft" drawn on the 6 panels that are the same size as published so he could space out the characters as well as see how much room it will take in the dialogue boxes.

"Like the wind crying endlessly through the universe, Time carries away the names and the deeds of conquerors and commoners alike. And all that we are, all that remains, is in the memories of those who cared we came this way for a brief moment." Harlan Ellison
