Today I received a small package of a cel and a dozen or so genga that I had bought. The genga that I got are amazing! One in particular is gorgeous. Unfortunately, all the drawings have parts where the paper has started to turn yellow, but despite that I think this is one of the prettiest drawings I own. It's the layout of the final scene of the first half of episode 24 of Ninpen Manmaru: Gyakushuu! Gio no Kyodai Senkan!! (Counterattack! Gio's Giant Battleship!!). Nenga is facing Gio's flying fortress. I love the way the whole picture is colored! You can really see the ship breaking through the clouds.
Most of the new drawings are from episode 24A, a couple from other episodes. I wish there were dvds available. It would make screencaps so much easier than working from VHS tapes.
Hmmm, interesting. Someone loaded the opening and ending credits from Manmaru to Niconico, and they used one of my cels as a placeholder image.

That's so weird. You can even see the bottom half of the word "end" from the sequence number, so it's definitely my scan. I'm editing my robots.txt to add more search engines.
