Someone remembers this! LOL.
Sadly this project hit the back burners during 2007 when life was.... bad. Sometime in mid 2008 when life settled down, I took the reigns back to redesign it, and it again got put back on back burners. =\
what I need to do, so go around and see if pieces are still in their respective galleries... then decide if I'm actually going to keep this project going. TO see if people still give a hoot about it.
But to answer your direct question, there was never any intent to make a contest out of the site. It was strictly to have a collective gallery dedicated to pretty anime boys/men/demons/angels.... yeah you get the idea. I also hoped that it may open the door for people to check out anime they may not have heard of or thought about watching before. ^_^

.Well the website is up for renewal in a few months, so I'm seeing if there is any interest in this project. Most of the items in the site (at least of mine) are in different homes now.
So I'm testing to see if there is still any interest in this project or not. If there is let me know. I'll get back to work, and start over from scratch. ^_^
To also add, I've gone through the posting, and I have no idea why I didn't some of the things mentioned... other than I'm a stubborn/lazy fool. IF there is interest I would like to work with someone on ideas/layouts/whatever. Tech knowledge isn't necessary.
