Everything in my galleries are by Camera! The Pictures are skewed.... But I mess with the brightness so it looks the same.
I use 3 computer screens to check the brightness and contrast so it's like the actual cel or sketch!

I did?! I haven't updated my genga gallery since December. :emb If i did anything to my gallery I must have moved stuff around, or maybe you were thinking of someone else? I haven't gotten any new JK stuff for a long time.

Yeah, like a lot of people, it's the comment writing that gets me. I feel like a broken record repeating things over and over, especially since I tend to collect the same characters so things to say about the cel gets really limited. (I believe my Eagle count just hit 40 last time... X| )

With cels I usually scan as soon as I get it then I tuck it away in the cel books. It's the scanned image that I don't do anything with. It's in some mystery folder buried deep within my hard drive. :P With sketches... they're in a pile next to my desk. :emb *sigh*

Recently I've been seriously toying with starting a Rubberslug gallery just featuring my favorite cels. Maybe I just got bored with my site and wanted to do something... different. But I'm way too lazy to actually put the site together, especially if I have to create a banner and all that stuff. Too much work!

I thought I already responded :emb. I remember checking your gallery 3-4 weeks ago and I noticed the new JK sketches... Its possible I simply never focused on them before and the re-arrangement threw me off 8O.

I am so unmotivated in everything lately. Reason is the same reason as any other year, just this stupid month... I so hate March. It's just a blah month all around for me :shrug

not a gallery update, but an update about motivation:

I've started my scanning chores. I've completed all non-FB series (38 scans). Now the hard part... scanning the FB. Then I need to rearrange my books to be able to put things away properly.

After that I can try to get the motivation to resize everything.
Then I'll need the motivation to Post it. (somewhere along the way I want to take the time to find screen caps, but I don't really need an excuse to watch FB again)

I would never get rid of my gallery. I like to share.

I perfectly understand the feeling of not being motivated to update. I haven't updated my webpage since Oct. 2005. I keep planning to do it. It just hasn't happened. :(

You could always sell me a few of those wonderful Eagle cels and then you wouldn't have to write comments for them. :dwink

I understand the funk. Not only have I majorly slowed down collecting, I've had several thoughts of quitting in general . . . even as far as selling everything. 8O Reality sets in when I start listing some on ebay that there's NO WAY I could EVER sell everything. I'm thinking it's just a phase.

If that phase ever hits again, I'll buy any FB to decide to part with!!

aw, this post is making me depressed... lol... i am the total opposite. i have come to the point where i only buy high quality cels every so often, and i am really eager to update when i get a cel. the only problem is that i feel like i have to wait until i get at least two or three cels together before i update. everyone else's updates are always so big and impressive!! i'm just not one of those collectors who buy 20 cels in bulk or watch a million series...

Don't worry Caroline!!
You don't have to have a big update for it to be impressive. Since you only get ones that are very special to you then you shouldn't worry about quantity!

Since I collect sketches they frequently come in sets. One sequence I just scanned was 20 sketches long. Silly me, I scanned each one. I just can't help but to show the whole thing that makes it animated.

If I update more than one picture in a day I feel happy. If I update three pictures in a day I feel pretty productive. :)
