There are relatively few cels in the world that truly deserve to be put in a silver rococo frame and hung in a fine sitting room, where guests sip surprisingly intoxicating beverages and nibble canapes while a string band plays arrangements of popular songs from the late 1940s and early 1950s.
The Mickey obviously needs to be shown less often, protected by a shatter-proof case, to a small group of rowdy and thoroughly intoxicated buddies who will provide their own music, interspersed with rude jokes.
(Like the one about the "Living pictures" tableau that consisted of 8 naked women standing in a line, one facing the audience, one facing away, one . . . er . . . sorry . . . rest of joke needs to be told when everyone is roaring drunk . . .)
Congrats on two museum-quality and historically important acquisitions, star-phoenix. We can only hope that some of the more recent collectables will be as worth having in 60 or so years.
