7 questions about Rubberslug that Newbies ask...

Here's another question:

How do you get a picture to display in the page background? The only place I can find that even refers to it is under "edit color scheme". So how do I make it a tiled picture instead of a solid color?

from the RS homepage click on the "my account" go to the "site graphics" under the "style" menu. then in the pull down menu click "global" and in the first line youll see "background" just upload your picture there.

(hope that made sense btw. lol)

It made perfect sense. I never realized that there was a drop down menu - I always stayed at "home"! Thanks for the help - now my background is fixed.

I can't seem to figure out how to change how many cels are displayed per page. I remember when I first started the gallery choosing 6 some how, but would very much like to go ahead and make it a higher number.

1). Log in...
2).Go to "Manage Artwork"
3).go to an anime section (a cel section, from the list)
4).Where it says "Edit Series Information"There will be boxes...
the boxes will say:
Series Name: *NAME*
Items per Page: *CHANGE THIS NUMBER*
Items per Row: *CHANGE THIS TOO IF U WANT*

Like said....There are many programs you can use, the problem is that most if not all may be too complicated...For some I had to read, wait and it was very hard @_@
If you are a beginner, like Klet says, get UNFREEZE, It's free, and takes SECONDS to animate your gif. Just convert your sketches to GIF (like if he said) but if you don't know how, or don't have the program to convert it....Just ask for help ^_^

Here are some other questions that newbies may have:

1).What is the difference between a gif. and Jpg.? -(formats to save pics as)
The difference is how they look, saving as a gif. makes the picture look better, example

GIF is also what you save ANIMATION as.....

2).How do I make text bold???
Ex:

Just put this code:
 *TEXT GOES HERE* 

3).How do I make spaces between text?
ex: like link above
Put before a sentence to start a new paragraph

4).How do I separate titles???? Like:

Like said before you need to put a before the title.
YOU Go to:
1).The cel/sketch section in "manage account"
2).and to Series Name, there you put the code.....
What does mean??? It means "Break"
HOWEVER.....You don't put it at the begging of the title, since it may BUMP the title to the VERY top (or so it's been happening to me -_-)
So you put it at the end of the Title, above the one you want to bump....
Example: Go to my gallery and look at the titles....
For the Inuyasha section to be separated from the Gundam Wing section...I put in the title for the Gundam Wing section: "Gundam Wing " that way it puts a space between the two....
Just put this after the title (it means two breaks)
NOTE- Spacing the sections MAY move the DAY they where added and may mess up the layout

5). How do you make those pretty graphics/what program do you use?
Most of us use photoshop ^_^

6). How do you put that text in the picture?
Ex: the layout I have in my main page...
-I've been asked this before....
From the blond guy holding roses, to the kid with the bird (kira) all of that is ONE IMAGE....just a long one...So I can't change the text without editing the image....

-can't think of any more questions ^^;
