New Ichi gif
Since y'all came together and taught me how to do animations better, I thought I would show off my favorite one so far (since the new instructions).
Plus, only two other people have waded through my gallery lately to even look at it....
I'm taking it a little bit at a time, and redoing all my gifs and genga sets. So maybe next year this time, I'll be all caught up.
heh heh
Yeah, right. I'll have bought more by then and still be behind.
But I'm going to try!!! <---with the help from the energizering bunny!

I suspect this will sound weird, but I really like that you have the top of the sheet with the registration holes and numbers. Makes it clear it's a real piece of animation art. Does that make any sense?

Thanks! It kind of trips my trigger too.vapalla wrote:I suspect this will sound weird, but I really like that you have the top of the sheet with the registration holes and numbers. Makes it clear it's a real piece of animation art. Does that make any sense?
And it's fifteen frames, sixteen sheets. The last few are merges of a static Ichigo face, with just his hand pulling out his zanpaku-to.
Are you up to it Steven?
I'll have to check and see what all I still have filed. My computer is still on it's last legs, and I try to minimize my keeping large files.
Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Great job with the GIFs and the merging. I think merging douga is fun...it's easy because they were meant to be merged, and you can see a semblance of what the animators would have been looking at on their own screens....something that's tough to see when a mouth is on one layer, eyes on another, hair on yet another.
Not only does it look cool, but it's the best way to make sure all of the frames are aligned for a smooth animation. Registration holes make it easy.but I really like that you have the top of the sheet with the registration holes and numbers.
