Trying something new with my gallery...

I just found out that Photobucket lets you upload small video files to your account. So I decided to try something with my gallery.

Seriously tho, your gallery is so cute! You have the best and most
diverse collection of Toriyama and various adorable series that I just don't
get to see often enough. It's one of my favorites on RS!

Lately I've been trying to organize my gallery a bit better. Right now I'm trying to decide how to sort cels within the same series. For instance Mahoujin Guru Guru is totally taking over my gallery! I wanted to sort the cels by episode but there are over 40 episodes for the first series. That's taking up alot of room!

I was hoping to sort it by every 12 episodes to make less sections but I can't decide how to do that with my cel descriptions. Does that make sense?

Lol, it's late and my brain is shutting down.

Saaawwwweeeet. I love that idea. I agree....we may be seeing others with video headers in the rubberslug galleries.

Why don't you put all of your Mahoujin Guru Guru cels in one category?
Then just label them as "episode # whatever" or in chronological order
as they appear in the series.

I've personally never seen the show, so I don't know how episodic it is.
If the episodes need to be separated, then you have the right idea by
keeping them apart. However, some people may not take the time to
visit each and every episode you have listed. So some cels may get
more neglected than others.

Plus seeing your collection all together tends to look more impressive.
"Wow! Sugarflower has soooo many cels from this show!"

I always prefer to see all the cels from the same series together. They
kinda look lonely otherwise =(

When I had the seperate by episodes there were only like 1 or 3 cels to each section and it was taking over my gallery.

I just took the past 20 minutes to group them together every 12 episodes so I figured that I would have only 4 MGG sections (excluding the ones for the movie and op/ed cels) that way there wouldn't be 40 sections with only a coupld cels in each. You're definately right about not wanting to check each section, personally I wouldn't want to do that either.

Yeah, it would be really kewl to see others do this! It kind of livens up the gallery a little.

I would love to know how to load video clips into the gallery. I have some OP and ends from shows we collect like the reggae one from Cyborg Kuro Chan, and it would be fun to show them as a changing exhibit. If you haven't seen Gluko & Batch sing Samba de Bacchi Guu, you're really missing out!

The addition of video is pretty neat, as long as it's a small clip [small fize size] and is encoded in something that everyone has already on their computers, it's brilliant.
Your vid is OK, Sugar, but I couldn't play it because it was taking too long to DL- at least that's what I think the problem was. I was DLing at the time which may have held it up.

Like WC says, I like your collection and layout- very well considered and put together.
