It's Finally Here....Another DBZ Wishlist Cel....^_^
I have been doing a bunch of updates to my DB/Z/GT sections. The Dragonball fans will enjoy checking out the gallery for the new updates.
This cel is another true wishlist cel of mine. I still can't believe that I finally got it. Check it out.

Check out my gallery for the other updates that I've done in the past couple of weeks.
More DBZ goodness to come soon.....(hint: Yardrat outfit )
And as well a couple of beathtaking cels from the "Legend of Moby Dick" series. I still haven't watched it, but the cels are just so well drawn.

I can't believe Akadro parted with the Gohan. Definitely an awesome cel. Of course you know I LOVE the Goten cel. So bummed I missed it on animegame. You'll have to get a lookout background made for it though. Too cuuuuuute.

Congrats on getting your wishlist! What a gorgeous and emotional cel too-how often do you really see the tough saiyans crying? Or getting spanked for that matter?

Congrats on all the new cels. They all look sweet. Gohan crying is a big wishlist to many, congrats on getting that. As for the vegeta, i was debating on getting it or not and decided not to, so its good you got it, and the extra layer is cool (didnt show it on the update) The last ones funny. Goten getting spanked

To get a wishlist cel is quite an achievement, well done, Prince Vegeta!
It looks dramatic when his face takes up the whole area of the cel.
The Bebi/Vegeta setup caught my eye because I like the over-the-shoulder images, there's often a sense of mystery and emotion about them, this one is a good example.
Of the one you recently linked, the Bansho Fan stuck out. These [almost] harmony cels depicting manuscripts and books appeal to me for their warm colouring and detail. Just by looking at the image I can faintly hear a narrative coming on...

The only thing to know is to watch DB first followed by DBZ....DB is a great series on its own. DBZ is a series that doesn't progress as fast as the anime series now adays, but at the end of it all....you will be happy that you did not miss out on it. I've seen both series about 6 times so far and I still can't get enough of ithobbywhelmed wrote:Is there a timeline somewhere of which part should be seen first, and then the order for the rest of them?
Very detailed cel analysis Krafty. I didn't know anyone else paid attention to those details as much as I do and for that you go up a couple of nutches in my book my friend

Cheers. I find implied meaning in any image is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.Prince Vegeta wrote:I didn't know anyone else paid attention to those details as much as I do
A successful painting/graphic will communicate a message instantly. Even if I don't know the original context of the picture, I'd define a 'good cel' as one that can suggest a story/scenario that strikes a chord with me.
That's acheived through various techniques but I won't go into that and turn this fun thread into a dissertation, LOL
Needless to say, I enjoyed these artworks!
