L/R Hanken Sketches & Ninja Scroll specials

A few people were interested in the LICENCED BY ROYALTY hanken sketches that went up in the last BWA; I've now got into gear and made them viewable for all!
Also a couple of interesting pieces from NINJA SCROLL- a clipping of the original film featuring Jubei in the bamboo forest and a horizonal pan copy douga of the devil, SHIJIMA! Has anyone EVER seen artwork of this guy before?

Very Nice Hankens! I wonder if the PT cruiser has a convertible version! They look like they are in a PT convertible!

Yep, there is a soft-top version of the PT and at that angle, I can see that it looks similar too!

Syan, Shijima has a claw arm- it replaces his left forearm- you are correct. I think in that shot he is crouching or on his belly with his right arm crossing underneath his body towards his left arm. That claw is something, I hope he doesn't forget it's there when he goes to pick his nose!

Great, high-quality update as always Krafty!! You know I love the Shijima copy, he's such an imaginative character and this is the first artwork I have seen of him!

I love the L/R hankens, Krafty.

I did a bit of research on this one. The words say "Congratulations on the 25th Anniversary issue of Animage." Animage is a Japanese magazine (the name is a combination of animation and image). Here's the Japanese Wiki page. I'm guessing that this was the image for the cover of the 25th anniversary issue.

This is apparently the cover of the 25th Anniversary Animage.
The Krafy's artwork says Congrats on Animage's 25th Anniversary.
Most likely its an artwork given to Animage, and possible it was displayed in the magazine as gift from artists and studios...or a prize given to the reader of the magazine.
