After 3 years, Shadow-light.net has been update

Hi all,

I finally finished the first 1/2 of my update (everything that I had so far scanned - which does not really include any of the new pans, hankens, sketches and about 1/2 of the new cels) and fixed/added a bunch of cel information. The update did result in the addition of around 500 cels to my personal gallery and did fix the e-mails on the shadow-light.net so that people can actually get in touch with me from the web site. Now I just need to get scanning again and finally finish up or switch over and finally redo the for sale pages. Not sure which I will do first. Either one is likely to take me over a month to get done.

As a quick note, the for sale pages are still not going to go back up until I can post a lot of new things and clean out all the sold stuff. That is why the link is dead.

If you can help ID any of the unknowns or if I messed up on something, please let me know. I completely reuploaded the site and there were a few issues on the transfer.

Hey Marcus! It's good to hear from you again. Hope you will be able to make Otakon.

Good thing you put the new cels link. Otherwise, it would have been like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I love the 3x3 Eyes, DNA^2, Meru, Gunnm, Key Opening, Kiki, KO Beast, Nadesico, Urusei Yatsura, and Himiko cels..... oh, and the VGAi cel.

Actually, too many to list all the ones I like, but I found these particularly interesting.

Hm... don't suppose there's a chance of some BGC goodies in the upcoming For Sale page? Probably not but it's worth a try.

It's a little hard to tell with the blue monochromatic coloring, but I'm fairly certain that this one is Riho from Nightwalker.

As usual you do things in such large quantities.

It would take me several years to update that many items.

Your Mizuho yukata Dousoukai pan cel looks great. I had always wanted a Mizuho yukata cel. I wish I had seen a pan cel like that first before buying the one I did. I had waited several years to find one and jumped on the second one I seen. (The first one I seen was really low grade bad) I didn't know if I would ever see a decent one for sale.

You collect such a wide variety of shows that everyone can appreciate something in your update. You even have two Kakyuusei cels which is still unusual for anyone to have.

Your Graduation cel is nice because all four of them are in the shot. Magical Kanan, Dragon Knight, Virgin Fleet...you have a lot of gaming anime there.

I am glad people like the update. This should hopefully motivate me to pick up the pace and get finally caught up (though not looking forward to scanning another 400 or so cels).

I placed the provided information under the cels in Unknown section. I will get some of the stuff moved to their correct galleries sometime tomorrow, but I probably will not make any new series pages until the next update (unfortunately, that covers almost all the corrections that keropi provided - but thank you for the information - it will get used).

Thank you metheus and kymaera for your indentification of the Devadasy series. I actually have a quite a few cels from the series (liked the art work), but just never knew the name of the series (the case I am usually in when in comes to putting names to series I have never seen, but which I like the art work). I think you right Moop on the ident of the Nightwalker cel and I had come to a similar conclusion at around the same time (what was throwing me was the fact that I thought I had picked it up with the devadasy cels).

As to BGC cels, I think I will be putting up a few from the OVA (mostly B and C grade cels) and I probably will be selling a few from BGC2040 (A and B grade). Still probably will not finish up a for sale update for at least a month.

I should be at otakon, but probably will be carrying only one cel book at most and it will likely be just cels related to the guest at the con. I probably will be at Curt's booth most of the time.
