new CCS items added!

I don't think I've been so excited about an update in awhile. When my packages arrived in the mail, I could barely contain myself and had to scan them right away!

First up is a completely hugable cel of the three boys from CLAMP Gakuen Tanteidan, wearing adorable matching yukatas.

Second is a wonderful CCS cel of Sakura, looking very put out with The Jump. I think the plush toys on the shelf behind her are very cute.

The Hunter x Hunter section saw the addition of Killua's mother and a wonderful full set-up of Gon and his bear friends from episode 1.

And now we get to my favorite part of the update. I still grin like an idiot when I look at these sketches. Normally, I'm not too insane. I don't bid on popular series because I don't want to deal with all the rabid fangirls (and fanboys) in a vain attempt at securing one or two pieces of pretty.
Well, this time I really was nuts and took on one of the more well-known IY collectors... I'm still reeling from this auction.

This is my first Inu Yasha update in FOUR YEARS.
I am waaaay too happy with the set of Movie 3 layouts that I've acquired.
My new pretties would be very happy if you'd go and visit them.

Your IY sketches =

Aside from your Papa Inu sketches being so bad A, this layout is gorgeous with all the detail and shading (I love the teeny yellow fullmoon), and I really like this layout as well. Love the shading and Takemaru's shadow.

Your other additions are great too! It's very rare to see Sakura looking angry (and, yes, the apple plush is very cute... too bad the penguin's top-half is cut off). Speaking of which, I look foward to seeing the nice CCS stuff you have in transit.

Great update! I really like the Sakura cel because it stands out so distinctly from the typical image. Also, congrats on winning the contest for the IY layout artwork!

Congrats on your new lovelies! That Sakura cel with the soft toys is juz soo kawaii ne, and this is the 1st time I've seen artwork of Inuyasha's daddy.

Nice update! I like the way the very detailed set of layouts and roughs from the IY movie really document a specific part of the plot. Your presentation tells the story well so we can appreciate the sometimes enigmatic images. That was a very interesting addition: and IY sketch art is never less than exciting. It's interesting to see how picky they were about even simple scenes.

I agree that CCS cels of Sakura in her fiercely intense mode are among the most moving available. Yes, she's cute in her little-girl sense, and often bewildered or puzzled. But when push comes to shove, she can summon an anger that would make many baddies step aside. Even Syaoran is set back in one of these moments (when she uses Firey against The Snow), and Kero-chan comments, judiciously, "That's why it's not good to get women mad."

Yours is a nice mad-dog Sakura, and you're to be congratulated.

Great Sakura cel. It's good to see some of your updates again! Just think how good that cel would look with a matching background. I wonder where all the backgrounds went...

what a great update! i especially love the iy sketches. usually i can't seem to warm to sketches because i feel like they're missing something (the spirit maybe?) but the inutaisho sequences are truly amazing ^^

i really love your beautiful new IY sketches - from such nice sequences too....

i hope we dont have to wait another few years for the next update, hee hee.
