The Update... from Heck.

Ok! So I'm lucky if I can find time away from fondling the Resin People once a month to catch up on everyone in here. (Which I do, actually, even when you don't see me

I CAN shut up, occasionally!).

So today, in honor of being half a century old and in complete pretense of having some sense of responsibility toward my collection - I updated it! It's been forever. What an amazing job it was. I'm utterly grateful that my family gave me the time and space to do this today. In all honesty I do have one last thing to update - a Saiyuki sequence that has to be pieced together and re-animated. But aside from that, EVERYTHING else is in there now.

Finally!

As you might imagine, there are new cels from my perennial favorite El Hazard. And oh yeah, a couple new shots of my favorite redheaded assassin type

. And a couple of new shows, revealing the twisted depths to which my enjoyment of pretty bishies will sink: Saiunkoku Monogatari and Patalliro. I also have a set of three cels from Generator Gawl, bonuses from Kata.

And a fantastic birthday cel of Big Mama from Kymaera!

And the coolest autographed sketch. Ever.

Great updates! So you're the one who nabbed nekkid kenshin! My favorite in your update though is the sketch of Dante. Congratulations!

Very pretty, especially the Saiyukis (the one of Son Goku in action is an instant classic). Great presentation, wonderful notes, as always.

Hey Baakay,

When I saw your Juuni Kokki sketch I had to post and say I 100% agree with this statement "Its art is simply magnificent, particularly when it comes to the many delightful animals, demons, monsters and mythical beings that populate the world." Looking forward to seeing more JK art in your future updates, (perferable sketches I don't wish to buy! lol)

Ok, well... go and look at the "end" cel I gave him for his birthday. Imagine a very similar cel, only from Mei King and the girl is facing up rather than down.

And it's a closeup.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! Nekked Kenshin was, well, a requirement. I probably would have sold lots and lots of other stuff to get him. I probably still should, actually... Anyone need a cel?

It only looks impressive because it's darn near a years' worth. Ok, well maybe 9 months or so. I do rather feel as though I've given birth...

Now maybe I have time to go check out Joe's update!

I love your update (from heck). Well worth the wait!

Your Saiyuki and Saiunkoku sketches are absolutely lovely! Their coloring and detail are just wonderful. (And the pointy ears! Love the pointy ears!

)

Congrats on the nekkid Kenshi cel too - what a great addition to your collection! (Hee hee.. nekkid...) I really like the dark colors on the other Kenshin cel too (not to mention the background - it's really pretty).

The best part though? Abe-san's and Itagaki-san's original sketches. Very awesome.
