HTML/Web Design - Homework - Opinions Please

Post by miz ducky »

http://frey.hpu.edu/nlocke/

I decided to use my shitajiki for my Web Design class.

When the class is over, I plan to expand the site to include all of my collection and post it to my regular site. So any recommendations, questions or suggestions are welcome. :D

I hope you like it!! Thanks for checking it out!

Aside from moving the navigation to the top of the page, I like it.

Clean cut and simple is always good for a website.

Very Nice Site!!! Image You have lots of nice Pencil Boards! So your old Avatar was Hikaru from Peace Pieces!!!

Are you using Dream Weaver, Front page, or something?

It looks really good! Image If you have more links then you'll probably need a side menu!!! Especially on pages where you have to scroll down alot.

Yep, my old avatar was from my pencil board.
For this class we are not supposed to use any authoring tools, so everything on this site was done in notepad.

I was reading this on your site!
My Japanese teacher told me that when she was in school they would use shitajiki as a fan to cool off on hot summer days. I guess those long skirts they would have to wear for school would get rather warm so they would lift their skirt and fan themselves. I guess they would use them so much that they would break and then have to go buy a new one. I think that's pretty funny.
And it reminded me of this!

I would add a marquee to your Site. They are easy and pretty fun to add to websites.
