Heh! Colored pencil! I know I may be odd, but seeing the coloring done with pencils makes me all kinds of happy.

Those are really cool! Its always a treat to see Rainbow Brite cels on RS, because they are so rare. My sister was obsessed with Rainbow Brite when she was little and I have some really great memories of watching it with her. One year for Halloween she went as Rainbow and I went as Inspector Gadget. I would love to find a cel for her someday. I always liked Star Stealer the best!

Thanks to everyone for checking out my newest additions! It's nice to see that there are some Rainbow Brite appreciators out there.

Rainbow Brite artwork is uber-rare, so I was really excited about this update. Now I just wish I could find out if these were actually used for any products...

Thanks, Shampy! It's good to see other people interested in Rainbow Brite!

As for the animation, I believe it was done in Japan. I have a fax that came with my OP cel which was from DIC USA to DIC JAPAN, if that helps you in your search...

Congratulations on the beautiful CCS cel set up. I'm glad that you were able to reunite the cels from the exit from the Maze sequence. It must have been quite an effort with a bit of good luck tossed in to assemble that scene. Good to see that there is still some activity in the CCS arena.

So, it turns out that the Rainbow Brite designs I bought were the basis for the Rainbow Brite Paper Dolls.
