Hello,

I have recently branched out and created my own cel gallery. I have a question for my fellow collectors. Currently, I have just thumbnails on my site, how important is it to you, a viewer, to be able to see all the extra details on a cel or sketch ie, larger image, details, screen caps, sketches, douga, gengas, backgrounds etc? Please feel free post here or simply use the poll.

I like images larger than a thumbnail but I don't really care about all that other stuff.

i love thumbnails, and especially love seeing the extra details about a cel. but not neccessarily under the thumbnail (ie, rubberslug)... if that was the question.

i like to make and display thumbnails, etc. and to see the details of sketches and sketches. larger images help those nearsighted peeps like me see what you've been up to.

the max size i use is 530x430; but, i chose to have gallery settings like shrinking larger image size and password protection. i do wish i had a better disable right-click code... it seems to only work when i go into 'manage artwork.' by the 3rd click, the browser freezes up and i'll have to reboot it.

Thumbnails-only are only good if I'm not that interested in the item.

If I'm interested in it, then it can be frustrating that I can't see a bigger version of it. All I can do is reduce my screen resolution down to 800 X 600. Then the picture automatically becomes larger.

For cels I'm interested in, I like to see details esp sketches, which are pcs of art by themselves

Well, first I would like to say a big THANK YOU for everyone's comments and votes. To the other 123 people that looked at the topic and didn't vote all I have to say is..what the heck? Three seconds is too much to ask to click on a buton..LOL.. anyways, Thank you to the ones that took those few seconds and voted. I am currently in the very long and tedious process of including all the goodies for each cel / sketch on my site. Below is an example. Hope you like it ^_^

thats interesting, you really dont realize whats involved in making just one cell until you sit there and look at all the sketches (etc) used in its creation.

I like how you can replace the main image in the same page with the sketch, screen cap, background, etc. If this were an option in RS, I'd definitely use it.
