Reunited, and it Feels So Good

A couple of years ago I bought an amazing genga set of Maximilian Jenius from Macross 7. It's probably my favorite set of drawings that I own.

Here's the genga:



A couple of weeks ago I was browsing Japanese auctions, and my heart skipped a beat.

To say that I am happy is the understatement of the century! I know no one else will appreciate how rare this is besides fellow collectors, so I wanted to share even though I'm not done updating my website. I'm just too excited!!

Congratulations! I've been able to do this in some very minor ways, but to get the cel (and matching bg!) for a favorite set of genga is every collector's dream come true.

Congrats! I came close to reuniting my cel with background with its matching sketch once but the auction went to high for me at the time
