Hey All.
So, I finally completed updates to the Vintage American art sections. I basically added larger thumbnails, more educational/historical notes, and reference videos. If anyone sees any inaccuracies or errors, please let me know. Or if you have any more suggestions, I would love to hear from you.
Next step is remodeling the Anime sections . . . . . .

Re: Website Updates
It does look much more inviting. I wish there was more that we could do with the RS gallery home page, as the long trailing list of individual galleries is a little intimidating for first-time visitors. I'd love to have a two-step entry, with a general title leading to a graphic based index, which then would lead to the individual displays. But I think that will require building one's own gallery, which requires skills that this old dog would find hard to pick up. The larger font is much friendlier, and the overall look is clean and neat.
You do need to do a typo clean-up. (I know ... as I'm still finding typos from my big 2006 make-over.) I had just enough time to look at the Fantasia gallery (amazing concept art!):
superviser --> supervisor
Film was conducted by ... --> I think you mean "Musical selections were performed by the Philadelphia Symphony, conducted by Leopold Stokowski." (From what I gather from the complicated history of the production, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" was actually recorded in California with a pick-up orchestra directed by Stokowski as it was intended to be released as an individual short. But the others were, I gather, indeed recorded in Philly with Stokowski's home orchestra using an early stereo recording system .)
Awesome stuff ... thanks for taking time to make the "display hall" grander and more inviting.

Diseny --> DisneyFantasia is the third feature length film produced by Walt Diseny Studios released November 13, 1940. The film consists of 8 short animated segments with classical music. Joe Grant and Dick Huemer were in charge of story direction, while Ben Sharpsteen was head superviser. Film was conducted by Leopold Stokowski and music was performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Re: Website Updates
Hey Sensei,
Thanks for pointing that out. I will get that part corrected tonight.
Yeah, I wish Rubberslug did have a bit more freedom for home page design. But, I have no complaints.
I am planning to start building my own website soon, once things calm down with the move and all. Interestingly enough, I have been getting quite a few requests from non-animation peeps (like doctors) to have a "showcase" of the online art gallery. It is nice to get such a warm reception from non-collectors like that.
