Thanks a bunch! Yea removing the douga is a bit like surgery for me, but I have a secret tool in this little soft plastic Gunpla Parts Separator that makes it alot easier with alot less tearing of the douga paper, which is flimsy enough as it is.

That Heero is definitely a keeper, yah!

Hey everybody!

Just realized it's been over a year since I updated my gallery thread here on AB. If you'll forgive me, 3 moves in 9 months will do that, plus not having a scanner!
But I'm all caught up with scans and even had time to redesign the RS gallery a bit. Not gonna post every new cel but gonna hit a few highlights and favorites of the past year!

And before I dump some sweet acetate, a big shout out to zerospace for being awesome!

Just picked this one off YJ!, a really unique FX cel that uses negative space to highlight the line work. Really interesting how they created these effects back in the 90s with early computers.

Gundam Epyon - Episode 49 "The Final Victor"

Got a couple Epyons from zerospace this past year, but this one stood out as a striking and intense cel. Love it!

Deathscythe Hell - Oversized Panning Cel - Episode 45 "Signs of the Final Battle"

There isn't anyway I can scan this cel that can properly translate the sheer size and awesomeness of this cel.
Coming in at a whopping 20 5/8" wide x 18" tall, the largest cel by far in my collection, even had to special order it's own Itoya.
Took about 12 scans to finish off this behemoth! Sketch is equally impressive!

Never thought I'd get any Wing Zero Custom cels, much less two of them! Still can't describe the feeling of holding these in my hands for the first time.

I traded away a sequence mate sketch of this douga to another collector and regretted it since it was such a nice sketch with a great pose.
So when this sketch came up, which was literally the frame after my original sketch, I snatched it up immediately. One of my favorite dougas in my collection!

Thanks! I just saw a couple of Milliardo's on YJ! but this one fit the bill nicely. Much harder to find Milliardo cels as opposed to Zechs cels and they tend to be a bit pricier. I know AnimeLink has two that are $350+ each

It's problem now. The beautif Cels of Heero, Zerchs (Miiliardo), Treize and Lucrezia are more expensive than before.
A few years ago the Cels were more affordable.

The problem is that people sell at a more expensive price because they are sought after and have become scarce over the years.

I had the opportunity to acquire beautiful Cels at a good price.

Ah yes, Gundam Wing-not overly familiar with it, has a neat art style though.

Do have some knowledge of the music, though.

Rather like the song "Tatoe Kimi ga Hohoende Mo", by Hikaru MIDORIKAWA (as Heero Yuy). Sounds like Michael from Marmalade Boy, which is no coincidence. I sound like I'm repeating myself from somewhere. Oh well, no big deal if I am.

Anyway, used to could find this song rather easily on YouTube; I'm guessing the Copyright Po-Po took it down.

As far as I know the music was never licensed for sale here, but that doesn't seem to stop the Po-Po from removing it anyway.
