I'm not even close to done... I've been basically editing, scanning, posting up on Rubberslug all day... This is me ---->

Thank-you for sharing, those are some very nice cels & artwork.

The "Why" & "About the Cel" sections were also enjoyable to read; giving a reason why each cel/layout is important to you.

Congratulations on your massive update. It's good to see that clutches of art like this still are out there, and that this Ep. 66 batch has come into good hands. I appreciate your keeping the sketches and layouts together, and your putting them all into the context of this complicated and deeply emotional scene.

That's one of the most significant moments in the first story arc (SPOILERS!) and Jadeduo's cel is one of the absolute best from this sequence (A31 END!)

Thanks Quacker! It's always great to hear all that effort isn't entirely wasted... I mean I could just throw everything up will nilly, (Most everything has been scanned except for a few pieces) but it goes back to my theory that we are custodians of our collections not just collectors. We should do our best to document as much as possible for everyone not just ourselves. I really appreciate the feedback!!!

I really appreciate your well thought out feedback ALWAYS ^_^ I agree the Episode 66 clutch was quite a find most of the layouts came with that one cel of http://jadeduo.rubberslug.com/gallery/i ... mID=370144 Sakura, I paid more for that Sakura than I have ever paid for a Sakura cel, let's just say it was worth the price tag I was not expecting all those extra pieces to come with it, the other two cels I've added separately one from YJ and one from a dealer...

Just a bit of a spoiler, I've more coming from my 3 favorite episodes from Japan in the next couple of weeks or so. I've been thinking about waiting on moving them to the bottom of the update pile when they get here, just because of the art I have backed up going as far back as 2007 some of the pieces... What does everyone think? DBZ, Saiyuki or CCS?

Okay... it took longer than I thought it would but the Saiyuki Burial Art is up FINALLY! Every piece from the really important punch in the gut scenes to even the minor characters. All told there are 50 pieces of art. Not including some backgrounds I still want to give their own page, but they are still there to be expanded with their attached layout so they are still up. But I am seriously burnt out on this series... I'm actually planning on working on the DBZ section next. I know it's not everyone's favorite of my collection because it is so small....

However I love/adore Goku, he's my favorite ^_^ And I have probably double the amount that is up that needs to go up so that will be the next big project! Also I am working heavily on episode identification which is very difficult as there are just over 500 episodes of DBZ... Granted some are easier to find than others of course ^_^

In the meantime... Please go take a look at the Burial art I worked really hard on it, and I have no editor so if there are any typos or I accidentally spelled someone's name wrong which I've caught a few times already... Please drop a line and let me know! in the meantime enjoy!

Both sets of art are from Saiyuki Reload: Burial Episode 1, Because I had so much art work I broke them into two parts the first section is from Ukoku's Story and the Second section is from Sanzo's story!

Very nice update! And thanks for all the careful screencapping and context finding. I think I like this one best as it shows the uncanny liminal nature of this transformation. He's in Yukito's form, but still pulsing with Yue's power. Your gallery collecting the cels and sketches of the "Star Path" scene is fast becoming a major online resource for CCS collectors.

BTW, yes, for some reason Japanese want to write the numeral "9" backwards, so I've seen several sketches or cels with written sequence numbers that that look like "AP" instead of "A9" or even more confusingly "AIP" meaning "A19."
