Rubberslug has been reported as being offline. Attempts to access the site lead to an unending "hang" with no error message. Jason has been contacted and is checking on the problem.

RS was fixed (broken connection to the server) and was behaving normally at 11 PM tonight.

I've heard of the following issues with Rubberslug this week:
When registering, getting the error "Validation Key Required" and I think this is preventing them from sending me an email through send feedback.
The site is slow.
Someone is unable to view their transactions in the market.
Another person tries to update an image and the old one keeps re-appearing.

Rubberslug has been very slow this week. The pages don't load at all most of the time.

I was able to do some basic maintenance on Friday, changing the banner, background, and featured cel/sketch. But there is a persistent problem with images loading, particularly those that were uploaded during the earlier days of RS. In such cases, the page lists as loading, but the process never terminates or leads to an error message.

Jason has been informed, but is unfortunately in a busy period in his work. He promises to restart the site and do some basic maintenance as soon as he can.

Rubberslug was behaving normally this morning (Tuesday, October 7) with all gallery images showing and the Account pages loading quickly and without errors. Jason suspects one issue is the slower access speed to the server that now is dedicated to the site, which is located at his home. If problems such as slow loading are encountered, perhaps the only solution is to try again at a time when fewer people are likely to be using the same bandwidth for browsing/streaming/playing, especially for the duration of the coronavirus stay-safe-stay-at-home era.
